TranceZenDance: News from within

Blessings to all. Well this is now 2010' and "time" or the feeling of "time" seems to be moving right along. "Transcendin", the album is done in it audio form. We have put several years of hard work and fortune into this electronic fingerprint of a dream. I have come to the awareness that it is already all it can ever be...perfect! I am curious on the other hand to find out where and who it touches as it spins through the universes outward and in. Your universe hopefully. The music bus. ain't what it used to be which is a good thing, it does however leave a group such as ours in a strange place of not knowing which path to walk with only so much energy to spare. So I will let it start right here and right now on our own website with our own friends and family. I am looking forward to whatever musical form we re-group as and until that time it is great to know that TZD is a family as much as it is a band and I thank every person who has come our way for their being. Many blessings to all of good heart and may the winds of change blow our dreamboats even further toward the transcending.

after giving the impression that we are no longer really a band... we are still working out ways to seep our creativity into this world. who knows what the future holds... at least we are leaving this planet with a high quality double disc, even if we never played live again... like a creature that leaves footprints in the earth, we leave tracks for you to know, that we are sharing this walk with you!!! big love from the trancezendites

I'm sittin in a coffee shop (not starbucks) listening to a few guys pluckin bluegrass with a mandolin and guitar and feeling the world spinning right around me. Any moment the next cell call could be the one to let me know my wife is locked into the path of childbearing for the second time. My days have changed somewhat from the dreamy music filled times I look back on with so much fondness. These days too have their own kind of magic with kids, new homes and relations. It may take me to be on the other side to see it in all it's glory someday. Our tribe has scatterd for a while to further our lifes needs in all the different ways. There is however a strong thread or even a rope holding us to the TranceZenDance path. We are dangerously close to finishing our new album. It's taken a while, but it is so worth it and after all it is the lesson ,take things at there own pace in honest commitment to our dreams. This one entiteled "transcending" is the rope that we as a group/family are still holding onto with a smile and a firm grip. I will post a few free clips on the web asap and look for a few shows in the winter of 08' with a few more kids running around the alter. TranceZenDance members are all standing at the edge of our future, just about to jump beyond the vail. We will be in the recording studio in Nevada City (Hiroshi House) from June 1st-12th. We have been working on the material for this album for some time now at our Lab of Love in Santa Cruz. This is a super exciting yet challenging time for all of us musicaly and personaly. We look forward to doing the dance with Great Spirit and sharing the next generation of TZD with everyone. Greetings friends, just want to post a quick note to let ya know that TranceZenDance has been very bussy working in our lab to produce the next gernerational movement from our group out and into the collective consciousness and beyond. We a very excited with the energy that has manifest though us lately. I am constantly reminded that our name is of the transcendent and though our relationships we have the opportunity to evolve if we choose to look into that mirror. Those places we feel resistance to can be a jewel of reflection. And so it is, in this group/family that we move through our stages together and find ourselves on the other side with a soundtrack to share. This time however, we are happy to share a movie too. So stay tuned for more about that. I will be posting new sound files from our rehearsals/gatherings each week starting nextweek. We are looking forward to this summer and hope to be a part of the expansion of your dreams. "This is the dreamtime........are ya gonna grab it!"

Greetings all, whether you consider this to be a new year or not, so many people focusing on anything creates an opportunity for wonderous things to happen. I wish the very best for everyone and the very best for our planet, the universe and beyond. May we treat eachother with respect, compassion and gratitude. I read recently of a study saying that by being grateful everyday we can lengthen our life expectancy by eight years! So........ thank you. Healing Gardens

Anastasia stated:

“Every seed planted by someone contains within itself
a great amount of cosmic information. Its volume is
incomparable to anything manmade. Thanks to this
information the seed knows exactly, up to
milliseconds, the time when it is supposed to return
to life. It knows when to sprout, what kinds of
juices to extract from the ground, how to use the
energy generated by cosmic bodies like the sun, moon
and stars. It also knows what specific type of plant
to become and what kind of fruit to bear.

The various fruits are meant for man's life-support.
These fruits can fight and resist any disease of a
human physical body very effectively and even more
powerfully than the best manmade medications existing
now and those which will be in the nearest future.

In order to fulfill this job a seed has to know
everything it could saturate the fruit with and bring
them into proper correlation with the necessary
substances for the healing process. It has to know
precisely for a certain person concerning his specific
sicknesses in case they have them or there is a
predisposition towards sickness.

To load this kind of information into a cucumber,
tomato or any other kind of seed which is supposed to
grow in a certain piece of land it is necessary to act
as follows:

Before planting or sowing a dry seed (don't soak it)
it should be taken into the mouth and kept not less
than nine minutes. Then take it in your hands
(in-between your palms), hold it for thirty seconds.
While doing it one should stand barefooted on the very
plot where the seed is supposed to be planted. After
that open your palms, bring your hands close to your
mouth, exhale the air out of your lungs right on the
seed (or seeds). After that keep it in the open air
in the sun for thirty seconds. Now the seed is ready
to be planted, so put it into the ground. Never water
it right away after planting! You can water it only
three days after planting.

Of course don't forget about the proper time for
planting or sowing. The day should be chosen in
accordance with the well known moon calendar. Every
gardener knows that there are especially preferable
days for each kind of crop. It is advisable to plant
early without watering when the ground has enough
moisture in it. A late planting could be fatal for
the seed.

Don't destroy around this plant all the weeds when it
is developing and growing. It is necessary to leave
at least one kind of each weed. You can cut the weeds
without pulling them out so you will not disturb the
roots of your plant”.

You can't remove all the weeds around the plant
because they are playing their special role as well.
Some of them are protecting the plants from
sicknesses. Others are supplying them with additional
information. While the plant is growing it is
necessary to communicate with it and at least once,
approach it when the moon is full and touch it.

According to Anastasia, this is the only way for a
seed to accumulate, file and process the information
about a person. In the process of bringing up its
fruit the plant will be getting the most out of the
required energy from the Cosmos and the Earth
specially for that person.

Anastasia confirmed that the fruits, which had been
grown that way from a seed and consumed by the person
taking care of it, are capable of healing him/her
absolutely from any kind of disease. It decreases to
a great extent, the process of aging, gets rid of
pernicious habits and addictions, greatly increasing
mental abilities and bringing peace to the soul. This
kind of fruit will give the most beneficial effect if
consumed within three days after harvesting, not
later. All the procedure described above can be done
with any kind of crop, which you grow on your plot.
There is no need to sow or plant the whole bed of
cucumbers or tomatoes this way. It is quite
sufficient to have only a couple of plants for healing
purposes.

Before you plant a sapling it is necessary to crumple
the soil in the hole with your fingers and the toes of
your bare feet and after that spit into it.

On answering my question, “Why with toes?” Anastasia
explained that toxic substances are coming out of a
human body through the feet sweating. These are
containing the information about an organism, which
had been sick. The young plant would get this
information and process it to the fruit, which would
be able to fight the sickness. Anastasia strongly
recommended walking on the plot bare footed at least
once in a while.

For all those who have witnessed the Seed or Samen (in German) performance from TranceZenDance, you can appreciate just this movement of energetic information transforming spirit with nature. The shortest day of the year approaches as we celebrate the equality of light and dark.TZD will be in the labs this winter brewing up some freshies and reworking some favorites. I look forward to re-uniting with my tribe this winter and keeping the flame alive.This recent fall and early winter has been an amazing growth period as we celebrate Neemah and Tej into our family. Scott, Acacia and Sky and Gita have been rockin' it as new inspiring parents. We give thanks for the opportunity to continue coming together and creating this magical web. I hope this is an inspired winter season for all,

Blessings beautiful friends!
We just returned from Earthdance. It was amazing. We had a great time and I hope you are in great spirits, wherever and whoever you might be. We also really enjoyed playing our old home grounds the week before, in Grass Valley. All I can say: That family rocks!!! It is such a pleasure to be amongst people that make us feel at home in ourselves. Such a gift. Once again, I feel like I am learning so much. After all the years of playing and performing together we try to make everybody happy with the experience. But the truth is that not everybody will have the same experience. In order to add new elements, other elements take rest while they go through the channels of transformation. We are excited to have the new fat drum sound coming from the roland v-kit, yet that leaves out a lot of the hand drums that Skywalker usually plays. Some people say that they miss some of the more theatrical and ritual elements, while others just want to get their groove on... In the meantime, all we get to do is to be true to ourselves. Share what feels vibrant at the moment. If we leave certain elements out one round, maybe they will come back around stronger... For me, personally it is about being authentic. Being real. Doing what feels connected and makes us feel good.That is what we need as people. Life brings changes. That doesn't always mean louder, bigger and better. Although we will always strive for the 'better' part . As performers we are often expected to pour our energy out there. I am just starting to learn how to cultivate and contain myself a bit more. It that sense we are not really performers. We are people that play music and share artistic ideas with the intension of creating good vibrations. We create art to reflect the magic that dwells within us. It is so beautiful to play for (with) people that match that vision with their love and reflect it right back, making it grow. See, that is the difference. If we pour it out at each other and towards our common vision, the cup is never empty. It overflows. This is how the magic grows! And I am so grateful to have experienced this overflowing cup lately! Good job people. And thank you. It seems like we got recharged. We have some creative ideas in the works. Yet is seems like we will continue to cultivate, meaning we won't play our selves silly. Skywalker and Gitatanjali are going to have their baby really soon. And that means papa will be on diaper patrol (less time in the studio) But we will see, how much he can keep his hands off of the instruments... It might inspire some cool sounds. In the meantime Neemah ( Scottys and Acacias baby) is so beyond ridiculously cute that is is hard to not stare at her. Which brings me to another thought. Sometimes people ask us, why we don't crank the sound during our shows. I realize that it is awesome to be engulfed in sound while dancing. It is also true that many people have ruined their hearing from concerts and raves(without even knowing it). It is not that we intentionally keep it down for that reason, but is is something to think about. Especially for the little ears, since we love having the younger generation around as well. I recommend wearing funnels around your ears, if you like it loud. I should come up with a cool design...In the meantime we will try to make it sound as fat as possible. Margo here. Here I get to write some words out into space... not knowing where to begin or who i am writing to. Time keeps on slipping into the future. I must say that I am amazed at all the unfoldings. We havn't been out there playing our music very much and it has given me a chance to re-evaluate my relation within everything. The words from our song Crysalis reflect that place : "It now has spun itself into a cocoon, for it knows deep inside that re-birth is coming from it's own spun womb..."
I just want to express my gratitude to all the wonderful family that keeps holding the dream with us. The bigger dream. The one that we are creating together. We are excited to play Earthdance this year. And I am excited to see who we have become... as a collective consciousness. And for the elders that will be there with us this year.
It has been about seven years since I met everyone from TZD. It took us a bit longer to realize that we were all in for a magic ride together. Once all the members got magnetized into the circle...the journey began. You know, being enmeshed with a crew of people can have it's challenges. And we weren't exempt from that. As I write this, Jesse and Sky are working in the studio. All of our songs are being infused with new vibes. Or should I say undermined with love?
Life is full. And within all this full-ness we continue to make time to get together. And when we do get together, i look at everybody with such amazement. It seems like we have come along way together. In so many ways. Nowadays I spend my time in my art studio, sewing and creating away. It has become my primary source of income. It feels good to have taken my creativity into new realms. And hopefully new levels of this expression will flow through TZD soon again as well. That's all for this time.... Wow, we are moving through the time space continuem so quickly!
Congratulations to our friends Olivia and Brother who have braught little Bohdi into the world and also to
DaveI and Marilee who have also emersed into the Earth plain a baby boy yet to be named. Scotty (TZD member) and Acacia will be giving birth any moment now and Skywalker (band member) and Gitanjali will be right behind them. It's time for our souls to move into the spaces in between the notes and nurture what is to become our future. Blessings to all the momas and papas out there.

War in the middle east, middle ages, middle America fighting itself for a chance to be seen on the big screen, "this Revolution will not be televised". More war and rumors of war have invested in itself all that can be found, or more likely stollen from the pockets of the seventh generation, the seventh generation has nowhere to turn, so what can we learn from an institution of greed (perpetuate the cycle of the rifle and not the cycle of your mind). WELL I SAY WE FILL OUR GUNS FULL OF LOVE AND WE SHOOT FOR A NEW DREAM. I SAY WE FILL OUR GUNS FULL OF LOVE AND WE SHOOT FOR A NEW DREAM!....bang bang.

Hey ya'll, TZD is moving into a new phase. Lots of big and little changes as we grow and know more about the dance we dancin.
Two new children are expected in the family within three months of each other so there will be new inspiration for our ever changing expression.
We have a new bassist, Dan Robbins with us. Dan is an unbelievable musician with many accomplishments under his belt. He was brave enough to come with us last year to Texas for our first gig out yander. He is a brilliant musician and adds a new level of groove to the groove.
The rumors are true....... Skywalker got a Roland VKit (electronic drumset). Yep, as if I didn't have enough to figure out up there on stage. This is something we have been toying with for a long time and here it is. The great thing is that Jesse is also a kit drummer so we will be doing the "Alma" thing (Alma Melodiosa) trading off between kit and other instruments.
Scotty has been hanging out with some of the worlds greatest Tuvan throat singers and has taken up some new bowed instruments that I can't even pronounce. We are planning on having some of the Tuvans from Tragilchen perform with us at Earthdance!
Margot and Jesse just got back from a few months in Bali. Margot has all new art wears she has been working on for a while now and a new juice for things magical. Jesse and Margot will be getting Married this Aug. We will be having a super family style PFN gathering in their honor.
Kimberly has been on the road with Maria Maldour. They have been touring the South Pacific and now the mid west. She has finished some big home remodle works that she has had on the burner for some time. We have all been nesting in our own ways over the winter and are very excited to uncoil this spring. We do have a third cd available now called Metamorphosis. We will be performing songs from that as well as classics from Remembering Our Future and Star Family Matrix. Jhon Renoir is still expected to be in cahoots with us over the summer whether or not he knows it yet. We put out a shout to our brother Ward Oshea who has moved on to other musical adventures but will always be in our tribe.
